"It is hard to believe that about four years ago I was in the midst of the college admissions and scholarship applications season when I received my acceptance to my dream school, Northwestern University, and the competitive scholarship program, Milwaukee's Finest. My time at Northwestern has been everything I imagined and more! In April, I was accepted into the Accelerated Public Health Program to earn my Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at Feinberg School of Medicine immediately following my undergraduate program. Moreover, I spent this past summer circumnavigating the globe by traveling to Buenos Aires, Argentina; London, England; Dublin, Ireland; Paris, France; Chinatown, Singapore to complete a research project funded by Northwestern comparing birth control policies/practices historically and modern-day. It is surreal to reach these goals, and I am so grateful for the continued support from Milwaukee's Finest. Not only did I receive financial assistance, but I gained the invaluable support of mentors and inspiration. As I continue into the next chapter of my life, I am and always will be a proud member of the Milwaukee's Finest family!"
